When determining your target audience, think of who this persona is. What are their interests? What is their demographic? Where are they located? All these characteristics can be selected when you create your ads so Facebook places them in the hands of the most optimal users.

  2. The Headline is Everything
    When it comes to the actual text in the ad, no matter what type of ad you choose to create, the headline will be the first thing the user reads. And just like if you were to meet these users in person, your first impressions matter. In fact, the headline can be so impactful, that it can end up being the only text a user reads before clicking onto your link. The shorter and more eye-catching your headline, the higher chance it will make a user stop and look. One way to do that is by including the offer (with numbers) within the headline. You can also follow this up by creating some sort of urgency to speed up the conversion.

  3. Have Meaningful Designs & Videos
    The largest part of your ad is going to be the media you decide to include, which gives you all the more reason to put a little extra effort into the design. In order to establish a digital presence, it’s important that your brand is consistent. This includes the designs on your social media posts and ads. You can do this by ensuring that you utilize your brand colors, logos and consistent stock photography. If you don’t want to go the image route, videos are also fantastic ways to draw attention and encourage engagement from your users. Even better, optimize your ads for sound-free viewing by including captions. This will not only make your ad more accessible, but if a user has their volume turned down they won’t miss out.

  4. End with a CTA
    In order for you to receive your intended conversion, you must first establish that goal within your
    Facebook Ad. Always remember to end your ad with a call to action or CTA, so the user knows exactly what their next step should be. In order to write an impactful CTA, make sure it begins with a verb, is relevant to your offer and shares the top benefits. By ending your ad with a CTA, you are ensuring that the last thing the user sees is a clear path to how they can properly engage and convert.
